Ms. Potros earned her Law Degree from the National University of Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1993, and her Master in Law from Touro Law College in New York City in 2009. Additionally, she took summer classes on Mediation as a Conflict Resolution Process, International Human Rights Law, and Comparative Constitutional Law at Potsdam University, Germany in 2009 as complementary studies of her master in law degree at Touro College.

Norma works closely with the Latino community by speaking and giving free advice in different Latino organizations. She is also engaged in the education field, as a professor at the Social Science and Human Services Department at BMCC-CUNY (Borough of Manhattan Community College of the City University of New York) in Tribeca.
